Terre di Romanello Relais in Val di Noto

The complex is beautiful with a view of Noto, you can get everywhere quickly by car and the room was also nice. The staff is very friendly. The dinner is delicious, the breakfast was ok. It was very relaxing that nobody occupied the sun loungers by the pool with towels and you could always find a spot. We really enjoyed our stay. What could be improved in our opinion: The cleaning lady wanted to come at 9am each morning while we were still asleep. After that she didn't come at all. The air conditioning cannot be used at night, but there are no mosquito nets on the windows, which is why we had a lot of mosquitoes and bugs in the room.

We had a very pleasant stay the property is beautiful with a lot of charm. The landscape is breathe taking with amazing views of Noto and the sunset. Only a short drive into Noto centre. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. I would recommend staying here if you on a trip round Sicily to recharge. Thank for a great experience

A beautiful farmhouse just a 5min drive from Noto. The property has a lovely view of the city from its very well kept pool and grassed area. The rooms were clean and modern, yet quite basic. Our room never properly cooled down, despite keeping the a/c on its strongest setting overnight. This made for a bit of a sweaty sleep. Furthermore, we experienced two mornings without any hot water in the showers. When we queried this with staff, they told us there was an issue with the solar panels that would be fixed that day. It would have been nice, however, if this issue was proactively communicated to guests and an apology offered. We also found the breakfast could have been better. There was a nice selection of Italian cakes and pastries, and a decent variety of items to choose from. But the corn flakes were the imitation 'no label' variety, and the juice was from a carton and not fresh. With all of the beautiful produce on this island, it would be a nice touch for this hotel to offer freshly squeezed juices to showcase the delicious fruits from the nearby area. Breakfast is served from 8-10am, but stock didn't seem to be always replenished after 9.20am (we witnessed one guest ask if more ham would be brought out, to which a server shrugged their shoulders and pointed to the couple of slices of other meat left on the tray). Overall, we enjoyed our experience at the property. It's a decent offering in a beautiful setting. With a couple of further refinements, this could be an even stronger proposition.
